Kirapy is a coined word from “ki” (the Japanese word for “tree”) and therapy.

Enjoy a gentle forest hike up Mt. Maruyama (approx. 225m) in central Sapporo.
This nature walk invites you to observe wild trees growing in their natural habitat and discover the subtle changes in the forest and plant life around you.
The round-trip course takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours, walking slowly through a forest trail.
While the mountain is not high, the trail has some steep areas, so please come with comfortable hiking shoes and clothes suitable for outdoor activity.

Maruyama Koen Station (Subway Tozai Line) → Maruyama Park → Forest trail → Mt. Maruyama summit → (Optional: Hokkaido Shrine) → Return to park or station

What to Bring / Wear:

- Rain gear or warm clothes as needed

- Trekking shoes recommended / Sandals and heels are not allowed
- Backpack or shoulder bag to keep your hands free

- Tours will run in light rain or snow.
- In case of typhoon or severe weather, the tour may be canceled. You will be notified by the day before.

*Please be aware that the tour may be canceled in case of natural disasters such as severe weather conditions, earthquakes, or other unforeseen events. In such instances, we will notify you in advance via email at least 24 hours prior.
*The tour will proceed in light rain or snowy weather. Please prepare rain gear and warm clothing on your own.
*Prepare comfortable shoes and attire for walking.
